6. Transport and Crane

Crane Requirements:
 The customer must organize a crane for unloading and assembly.

  • Max package weight: 4,000 kg
  • Max weight of one element: 1,200 kg
  • Recommended crane size: 25t–45t, depending on distance from street to foundation.

Truck Delivery:
NorgesHus delivers the house using 40-ton trucks, typically a mega trailer or standard
articulated lorry.

Truck dimensions:

  • Length: approx. 16.5 m
  • Width: approx. 2.5 m
  • Height: approx. 4.0 m

The construction site must be accessible for trucks of this size, with enough space
for turning, unloading, and crane positioning.
